May 10, 2000 - Luck

Realized that I wanted to improve the readability and usability of my journal entries, so, effective today, I have modified the design of individual entries. I'll probably get a chance in the near future to go back through all my entries and break them up, but for right now, this will have to do :) Thanks for understanding.

That aside, welcome.

Last night was pretty cool. Todd, Kevin, Scott, and I went to play hockey at a new rink that's just recently opened up. Scott's a goalie, the rest of us play offense/defense. I've rollerbladed for years, but hadn't played hockey until October '99.

I got back home, read some mail, browsed some of my fellow diarists sites, and started chatting with Rachel out in northern California. I also happenned to be listening to the radio 96.7 KHFI. The DJ announced a ticket giveaway, going out to caller number 9. I figured what the heck. So I called in. And bam - I was caller number 9.

Todd and I chatted on ICQ for another hour after that, continuing our long-heated, commic debate of which of our universities is worse. Todd is a great friend, athletic, good-looking, and single. Ladies beware. :)

Tom wanted me to play music tonight - we are hoping to record a CD.  (free copies to the first 20 fans who write me).  Well, it might be a while.  I'll be playing drums and percussion through most of the songs, and probably get a few tunes in on guitar.  I'm not sure which music styles/genres it will end up as, but I have a feeling we might try some rock and jazz.
